Instruction
One of the parts of photography that brings me the most joy is sharing what I’ve learned over the years. Teaching gives me a chance to slow down with people and connect in a real way. I never planned on becoming a teacher. It grew out of conversations on sidewalks and long walks with friends who wanted to understand how I see. Little by little I realized how much I love helping others find their footing.
I teach the same way I photograph. A lot of patience and a lot of fun. I try to meet you right where you are and build from there. Some people come wanting to understand timing. Some want to work through fear. Some want to learn how to move through a street with more confidence. Everyone carries their own story and their own way of noticing. My job is to listen and help you grow in the direction your heart is already leaning.
Teaching keeps me grounded. It reminds me that photography is not just about images. It is about presence and connection and learning to see the world with a little more compassion. When I walk with someone who is learning, I feel that same spark that pulled me into photography years ago. It is a gift to share that with others.
